
Last week we celebrated students in grades 1st - 4th that earned Principal’s List, Honor Roll or BUG (bringing up grades) Club Reward. Students were treated to a snack and an extra recess. Pictured is 3rd and 4th grade students. 1st and 2nd had so much fun we forgot to take picutres. ☺️ We are so proud of all their hard work!

Ms. Hannah Suire's kindergartens made their own butter today to wrap up their farming unit!




Students in Mrs. Brittany Landry's class have been learning about maps and globes so they made their own personal globes to take home today! 🌎





AR "Little Debbie" Cake Bingo was a success! Congratulations to all the students who were able to attend the Bingo! Thanks to Lyon's Market for the cakes and thanks to the parents who volunteered to help call and check cards during the bingo!



Mrs. Brittany Landry's Kindergarten class celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! DREAM BIG!



In art, our stations focus in fine motor skills, hand strengthening, and eye hand coordination while we are creating. These skills are so important in many daily tasks, personal care, and academic skills.
We are building with Legos, using scoops and sorting poms, creating with playdough, stretching our creativity and problem solving skills with a variety of building materials, and stringing beads.

2nd grade has been learning about presidential electionals and held their own class elections this week! Check out Mrs. KB's candidates.




On Wednesday, January 25, 2023 we will celebrate the 100th day of school at KES! We are allowing all of our students to create a shirt that represents this day. Students may decorate a shirt with 100 items; make a shirt that represents the number 100, etc. Shirts may only be worn on this day and with uniform bottoms. Students do not have to pay $1.00 to wear their 100th day shirts. We can’t wait to celebrate 100 days of school with our amazing students!

Prek has been learning about color mixing! They learned about primary colors mixing to make a new color and which colors make orange green and purple. They also learned about stamping with blocks!


1st grade is finishing up their weaving lesson! They used ribbon to weave through plastic baskets.




Mrs. Kristin and Mrs. Charlottes Pre-K class talked about our Tree Study today while creating edible Christmas trees is our small group 🎄❤️
