Help us welcome Ms. Jamie to KES as our Librarian! My name is Jaime Hebert and I am very excited to begin a new adventure with the little Pirates of Kaplan! I have been teaching in Vermilion parish for 16 years. I have taught First grade, Second grade, SPED Resource/Inclusion, and 5th grade Math & Science. I am certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Library Science, Intervention Content Leader, and I am graduating in August with my Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I am married to Jake Hebert and we have three children: Haiden, Reece, and Evie and a yorkie named Sammy. While I am not originally from Kaplan, I love being part of the community, teaching here, and being a Pirate!

School Lunch Hero Day is held annually on the first Friday in May in honor of each person responsible for providing lunches (and food) to millions of children across America. Today, May 3, 2024, is School Lunch Hero Day! Thanks for all you do, Shawn LeBlanc, Nikki Roy, Donna McDaniel, Melissa Naquin, Blair Abshire, and Gina Dupuis! Help us welcome Mrs . Dana to KES as a Pre-K Paraprofessional! Once a Pirate, always a Pirate! My name is Dana Noel. I’m so excited to join the KES team. I come with almost 9 years as a Pre-K para at FIEB. My family moved from Intracoastal to Kaplan last year. Ive been married to Derek for 17 years! We have 3 kids. Graci is 16 and a sophomore at KHS, Lilly is in 8th grade at FIEB AND Andrew is in 6th grade at FIEB. I love watching softball - my oldest plays for KHS. We also love theater and music. We are lifetime members of Abbey Players theater in Abbeville. I was the 1st class to be consolidated back in 91. I graduated from KHS in 1992!

Help us welcome Mrs. Danielle to KES as our SPED Teacher! I have been an educator in Vermilion Parish for 19 years. I spent 5 years teaching Physical Education and Coaching, and the remaining 14 years teaching Special Education. I love helping students grow and becoming the best version of themselves. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but spend most of my time following my busy kids around!
