COMMUNITY COFFEE CASH FOR SCHOOLS! KES Library is collecting Community Coffee labels! So cut those proofs and start sending them to school. You can put them in a Ziplock bag or envelope to be turned into their teacher or Mrs. Jamie in the library.

Mrs. Abby's 1st grade class had so much fun in social living today! Students experimented by using different types of “bird beaks” to pick up beans! Ask your student which beak made picking up beans the easiest? Which was the hardest to pick beans up with?

Help us welcome Ms. Amber to KES as one of our resource teachers! I have dedicated 13 years to special education , with three years spent at JHW, followed by one year at Kaplan Elementary and North Vermilion Middle. For the last 8 years, I have been part of the Forked Island E. Broussard community, servicing students in grades K-4th. I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and relaxing at the beach.

Help us welcome Ms. Rylie to KES as a 2nd grade teacher! I taught at SWE in First grade and I learned more than I ever thought. In my spare time I am a dog and plant mom, my two favorite things in the world! I am so excited to teach in my home town and be around people I grew up with!
