Ms. Mia Boullion was named the 2023-2024 KHS Teacher of the Year last Thursday at our Homecoming Pep Rally! Ms. Mia's Media Arts students and co-workers had some very nice things to say about her!
Ms. Mia has a heart of gold. She has a huge hand in creating a school filled with so much school spirit and has worked hard to involve as many students as possible. Dedicated to both the school and her students, Miss Mia works endlessly to keep the Kaplan spirit and expectations alive. She is always looking ahead in the education world and continues to expose herself to new strategies in her classroom. “Students care about great teachers because they know great teachers care about them.” This quote perfectly describes Ms. Mia! She reaches so many students because they all know she cares about them! She makes everyone feel welcomed at KHS, and like KHS is our home! Ms. Mia is a very compassionate teacher. She takes the time and is patient with every student and is willing to give everyone a chance! She takes pride in wanting to teach her students and helping the school out in any way possible. Ms. Mia is the true definition of a leader and someone for us to look up to!
