Our Freshman Class is having a Bake Sale at Campbell's today! They are there until 1pm (or until they sell out), so please come out and support our freshmen. You can make your Mother's Day celebration easy and delicious with some of their homemade goodies!

Our biology students presented their cell models today. They had to choose between a plant or animal cell and create a 3D model displaying all of the organelles within. Models consisted of recycled products, food, craft supplies, and even a mash up of biology and geology!

Ms.Sheri’s FACS 2 class spent the past three weeks making lap quilts. They did a great job!

The 9th grade Physical Science classes had their egg drop demo today. They worked hard over the last few weeks researching and engineering structures to ensure the safety of their eggs from a 3.2 m high drop. Most of the eggs remained intact while a few became….scrambled.

As part of their end-of-year math project, 6th and 7th graders took on the challenge of planning a dream vacation, all while working within the confines of a strict budget. By conducting thorough research and calculating travel costs, accommodations, and daily expenses, students ensured that their dream vacation plans remained within budget constraints.

A great opportunity for those interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math!

Earlier today, 5th and 6th grade band students from all corners of Vermilion parish, including our students from Jesse Owens and GHS, gathered to put on a concert for Band Day! Students have spent most of the semester learning the same music, so today was their chance to practice together then perform for family and friends. They did an amazing job!
