KHS students and teachers wore their best Rock-N-Roll attire to show our school spirit for tonight's football game against the Church Point Bears!

Our class points were given based on the following rankings: Juniors in 1st place with 26 students participating, Seniors in 2nd place with 25 students participating, and Sophomores and Freshmen tied for 3rd both with 22 students participating!

KHS Students dressed in their best PINK to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Classes received Class Points based on the number of students they had participate in the Pink Out dress day! Rankings are as followed: 1st place Juniors with 84 participants, 2nd place Seniors with 65 participants, 3rd place Sophomores with 59 participants, and 4th place Freshmen with 54 participants!

KHS Students wore their best Circus attire to cheer on our Mighty Pirates! Class Points were distributed to each class based on their participation! Rankings are as followed: 1st place Seniors with 44 participants, 2nd place Juniors with 16 participants, 3rd place Freshmen with 15 participants, and 4th place Sophomores with 9 participants!

On Friday, students gathered for a pep rally to cheer the Mighty Pirates on before their game against the Rayne Wolves! Spirit Stick Competition rankings are as followed: 1st place Sophomores, 2nd place Freshmen, 3rd place Seniors, and 4th place Juniors!

Construction Dress Day 9/22/23 rankings are as followed: 1st place Seniors with 55 participants, 2nd place Freshmen with 37 participants, 3rd place Juniors with 36 participants, and 4th place Sophomores with 26 participants!

Game 4's Dress Day Theme is "Pirates Will DEMOLISH the Wolves!" Wear your best Construction school approved apparel to school on Friday!

We will have a "Best Dressed" Contest in the Student Section Friday Night at the football game!

Scenes from Friday's Pep Rally: "Give The Gators The Boot!

Last Friday, KHS students brought the noise and the hype to our end of day pep rally! We had great performances from the KHS Cheerleaders, Dance Team, Band, and Pirettes! Our Football Seniors said a few words to hype up the crowd and we had some tough Tug of War match ups!

Tug of War Match Ups gave our classes some class points! Rankings were as followed: Seniors in 1st place out lasting everyone, Sophomores in 2nd place, Freshmen in 3rd place because they gave the Sophomores a tough competition, and Juniors in 4th place!

Spirit Stick rankings were as followed: Seniors in 1st place once again, Sophomores in 2nd place only 0.5 behind the Seniors, Freshmen in 3rd place, and Juniors in 4th place!

Country Come To Town!

Our KHS Students, Football players, and their farm animals are ready to help our Mighty Pirates "Lasso the Gators and Give Them The Boot!" Today's class rankings for Dress Day Participation are as followed: Sophomores in 1st place with 69 participants, Seniors in 2nd place with 63 participants, Juniors in 3rd place with 62 participants, and Freshmen in 4th place with 37 participants!

First Home Game Pep Rally!

KHS hosted our first "School Day Home Game Pep Rally" on Thursday September 7th.

We had some great performances, friendly competition with a class game and spirit stick competition, Senior Jacket presentation and a special surprise from Mr. Chauvin that had all of our students coming our their seats! We love Pep Rally Fridays!

The rankings are as followed for the Spirit Stick Competition: Freshmen- 1st place; Sophomores- 2nd place; Seniors- 3rd place; Juniors- 4th place! We will see who takes home the Spirit Stick in next week's competition!

The Pep Rally Game was "Head, Shoulders, Knees, Bandana!" The rankings are as followed: Juniors- 1st place (Addyson Hebert was the last Junior standing), Seniors- 2nd place (Q'Juan Richard was the last Senior standing), Sophomores- 3rd place (Sabe David was the last Sophomore standing), and Freshmen- 4th place (all Freshmen were eliminated in the first round of the game!)

September 7th USA Dress Day Participation rankings were as followed: Seniors in 1st place with 68 participants, Juniors in 2nd place with 49 participants, Freshmen in 3rd place with 40 participants, and the Sophomores in 4th place with 35 participants!

Wednesday, August 30th, KHS held a Community Pep Rally after Open House to opening up the beginning of our 2023 Football Season and get the community and fans excited! We had wonderful performances from the Pirate Pride Cheerleaders, the Pirates' Gold Dance Team, the KHS Pirettes, and the Gold Band from Pirate Land! Our 2023 Mighty Pirate Seniors, Ja'Varion Landry, Talan Fruge, Gabriel Campisi, Andre Marceaux, Jed Devoltz, and Grant Landry, opened up the season with some motivational words about the upcoming game against the North Vermilion Patriots! Pirates are ready for a great season!
